WOOHOO. im workin!!

not that it deserves any cause for celebration, coz full timers like us practically have not much time on our hands.

im just stealin some time to blog blog nia.

And i cant go for the class gatherin, and 1142 gatherin.

blah, workin can be a pain sometimes.

Luckily i have some very very fun colleagues to add spice to my life.

And weird people on the other line to make me feel amused.

I called a 74 yrs old man and asked him if he wanted a makeover and beauty treatment just yesterday.

Before i finished, he yelled into the phone:

Im actually quite happy being 18. Its quite a nice age to be at. I wouldnt mind being older, if its just the number jumpin, not the wrinkles and the aging skin, hee.

At home?

3. What do you do when vending machines steal your money?
If its in school, I’ll go to the office, even if its just a few cents. But if its outside, i wont know who to approach, so i’ll let it go. Quite a boring ans, but yeah, thats me.

Duh. I cry when i see something unfortunate ok. But im not sensitive. And tactful. Minuses and Pluses here and there and that makes me normal.

Had to? Why would I? But if i had to, on my foot? quite cool leh.

Something exotic? haha. But i always wanted to learn malay, and French, and Thai. Yah, these 3.

watched eragorn with huang wei ting yesterday, and it is a miracle since my little sis seldom steps out of the house. hohoho. we suspect she has autism, because she’s totally mute when she’s in front of the comp. Or is that a new found disease?

Anyway, it was cool because of sapphira, the dragon. The lead actor didn’t quite impress, but sapphira was way too cool. The movie was kind of harry potter and lord of the rings merged into one, with all that magic, sorcery plus the CGI and the grand scenes. Won’t say i regretted watching but not cool enough to list as an all time fave.

And, I found a job!!!!

Recommended by yy. Actually have been collating the numbers of all the different types of bookshops (TIMES, kino, MPH etc.) and have decide to call on monday. But since the job has found its way to me (I’ll be workin as a receptionist in Clarke Quay with YY), of course i’ll take it. Duh. My mum’s been wondering why the sudden enthusiasm, since im not really in need of money. But i think it dawns on her when she sees me shopping. heh.

got money better then nothing.

going with wanying to discover centre tomorrow. hahaha. unbelievable? Anyway, I haven’t ever been there, so yeah! Im definitely lookin 4ward, if the tix price isnt too ex. I think my holiday has been interesting, compared to many of my friends, because ive been to lots of ridiculous places, next up, i want go night safari!!!

i think it took too long for me to realise that i shop heavily, really.

ok, maybe there may be peeps who shop more than me, but comparatively, i might shop more than my friends.

anyway, mango sale! and i got myself a pair of jeans and one denim skirt. plus got a pierre cardin bra set. hohoho.

and nail polish.

anyway, im not trying to complain that shopping too much is a total bad thing. it’s my way of destressing and detoxing. just tryin to indicate that im actually quite "high maintenance" so this reinforces the statement that "i’ll never get married any soon"

sometimes you realise there are circumstances when your friends need you more than you need them.

Which is sometimes a comforting thought, because you know that there are people who really value you as a friend, and that you being around is a help to them.

But sometimes i always feel worried. What if im not there when they need me?

I dont tend to pay attention to people around me. It’s not that i dont care about you. maybe its just me. solitude might just be the right word. I’m very comfortable with being alone, maybe that’s why i dont really understand many problems my friends face. But i’d always be around, ok? *wink

Even though im not much help.

Realised ive not made many good friends in my jc life. But am pleased that those good friends in secondary sch are still there.

Christmas eve or new year eve party anyone???hoho.

Prom night was well…..a new experience for me.

Things i’ve learnt:

1. It’s hard to feel confident if you’re dressed uncomfortably and when you’re totally not you.

2. Time helps. After a while, getting use to those killer heels and weird dress is an easy feat. Might even dance in them (though i can’t)

3. Everyone suddenly feels self-conscious. Everyone’s wondering how they themselves look in that dress so nobody’s gonna look at me.

4. For 18 years old, these functions tends to turn into huge photo opportunities

5. If i get sore eyes on my wedding night, i’ll definitely postpone the wedding. Who cares what others think?!?!

6. It feels great to retain a part of you that’s still you (my beloved specs)

7. Some people can totally lack sense. (no, im not talking about you, serious.)

8. I’m actually quite rich. Nah, kidding.

9. Western food is not for me. I was almost hungry the whole night.

10. Im not a lady + it’s tough being a lady, removal of make-up, washing up, cleansing, exfoliating, bathing, hairwashing, removing icky wax took me almost 2 hours

Finally, i’d conclude that if spending 80 dollars means a night well spent with those beloved classmates and fwens of mine, then heck it, i’ll spend it (im rich u remember? haha.)

long long night yesterday. almost sleepless as well.

thus the droopy eyes todae. and as i stare at this computer screen, my eyes are startin to lose focus. yawn.

respect bbq yesterday and it was just wonderful. Somehow i had that feeling that it was unlike a lot of the gatherings that i have had. Much more heartwarming and we were more close-knitted though so much time was spent apart. All didnt change much. haha. Yongsen still as nonsensical. Still harry and clement doin the bbqing. Still me jac and doris. And i still didnt talk much to van and eunice. Hoho. All still the same.

had a great time with food and fun. and silly games like the donkey level 5 thing and polarbear hunter and victims. lol. attempted to throw chee chee into the pool but plan failed.

Must be the latest ever ive got home in years. around 1am. coz of missed buses and long walks. and shucks, i must mentioned doris’ mum driving skills. hee. doris was giggling on the ride, and though i have to thank her mum for driving me home (definitely not on the way) , the weird driving skills kept me amused.

gaa. anyway. i didnt sleep until 5 in the morn. because me and huang weiting kept talkin talkin talkin. about all sorts of things. aiya we always have a lot to talk about at nite. and maybe also due to the noisy din downstairs coz of neighbours preparing for a weddin, cookin in the middle of the night.

And im still damn tired.

Watched dvds. Tony Takitani and Monster House. Ultimately contrasting. haha. Tony takitani was quite gd. Though the pace was rather slow, i thought they did the narrating quite well. The subject was interesting, with the obsession with clothes of tony’s wife. gosh, city people do face plenty of weird stuff in their life. and i was thinkin if what tony was feelin was loneliness in some of the scenes, then i must have been lonely at some point of time in my life, coz it dawned on me that i had had this feeling before. Monster house was entertaining and cute. Though the animation sux. The mould of the characters was rather ugly and hideous i must say. a bit lame, but to while time away, it was good material. I quite like the little gurl at the beginning of the movie goin hi fence hi leaves hi sky and plop, fell on her tricycle. cute.
