goong madness

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

small eyes shin is soo hot and cute that i am not even resisting the fact that ive been watchin episodes and episodes of goong which most would label as trashy drama. hahaha. well, one hour of trash should be forgivable if it acts to balance the many many hours of agonising ’studying’ that has been going on.

been startin my day early, usually with a couple of minutes of TIME and then on to maths practices. actually with careful scheduling, studying is not as much as a bore as i used to find it. no, maybe i should put it in this way: ive always liked studying but sometimes it tends to become a drain when in excess. heh. balance is always a delicate act thats hard to maintain.

watched blogtv.sg yest on cna, the one with fd and some woman called lynn i think. not exactly interesting as i thought it to be. they got sarong party girl for the interview and my, she’s ugl…ok not pretty nor sexy. shucks, i was deceived by her photos. i think she got herself a good photographer. ok, that’s mean. sorry. but i think she was getting defensive towards the end of the conversation and huh, she said she wasnt a bad influence on impressionable young. are you kidding me? i think she ought to shoot herself for being so naive. at least admit ba. ok, im bein mean again. sorry again then. anyway, they got tommy wee the 8 days editor too, but he wasnt of much help. little interesting conversation, except that he’s good eyecandy with his boyish look and charming smile.

now hooked on Amitav Ghosh’s The Hungry Tide, a good read after dinner time to get me settled down before i start studying again. its a long book, but of course an enjoyable one. and i am regrettin that im takin so long so much such that i have to give up on Munch’s biography and return it to dear mr library because he’s goin to pester me for money if i still refuse to let go of it. so down that returnin bin it went. urgh.

me have come online to print chan’s physics stuff, yet ended up doing more.

but i dont regret typin this entry. lettin ppl know about my life is a joy, not a chore. and i daringly admit: i want you to read!!!!!

does that mean im an exhibitionist??????????

ive been on a book rampage lately

conquered one more jostein gaarder’s and i must say this book was great great great again

beautiful story that i think everyone should read at some point in their life, when you’re dejected, lost, or even optimistic about that light at the end of the road

the ending was great, but i shan’t spoil it for you. read Jostein Gaarder’s Through A Glass, Darkly.

was goin thru the webbies for my future studies, and im considering faculties like sch of comm, nus arts and social sciences for political science or sociology, or chinese studies, or you could put it in another way, im hopon they would consider me.

considerin that ive been missin in action for a while, shall update you on my life:

- suffered a bout of slight depression because of a disappointment and slip in academic grades (but ive gotten over that, and im not in the worst of worst of predicament like i know many are)

- been rebellious, with regards to opposition to conservative stances and traditional approaches during discussions with mummy. ive discovered that traditional chinese values arent really deep-rooted in me, because ive started to question the illogical existence of some ‘rules and regulations’. Baa. im a wild child? haha.

- still studyin albeit not till the wee hours like some of my friends. you reap what you sow, so minimal hours might equate to minimal results, though i hope not. i shall make full use of the time im willing to sacrifice. haha.

- found edvard munch’s biography and i jump for joy!

- addicted to goong, ok, maybe not that extreme

- askin questions, because i have so many unanswered questions. clarifications with tutors blah stuff

- witnessin the ponning situation in school. sch regulars lately for the gurls are only me yinwei wanying and ah hua haha.

- enjoyed my last kidsread session before the 4weeks break

- missed so many movies including little miss sunshine and the departed that i reckon im gonna miss black dahlia too. scarlet johansson is the new hot!

- wonderin if i should start slimmin down because it’s in fashion. wahahahahaha. jiamin jiayou!

- crossin my fingers and hope all will be well. wish for the best for my friends in the a levels. "We should progress as a cohort" heh

Bah, that’s life for you. and me.
