been contemplating how to make life remain as good as it is now

it hasnt been exceptionally great, just that, ive found some pleasures in life

and they’re kind of lame, dont mind me.

but it’s a great feeling learning to let go and breathe, lookin more at things aroung you, and sometimes you tend to love your feelings a little more

im talkin nonsensical here, but it actually means: it feels great to feel, truly feel

that said, i must have been numb the past 18 years

watched the lake house on fri, been a long time since i touched romance and it felt whoomp

was sandwiched between teenage girls (although im kinda one myself) and packed cinemas are always wonderful. makes you one of the crowd, and so unnoticeable.

people’s been sayin how it’s so great that sandra bullock and keanu reaves are back together in this movie, but i dont know since i havent really catch any with both of them, so it was a first time experience. but i must say, they’re great! plus the lake house too. what an architectural feat! that old man wyler should be proud of himself. haha.

and ive been thinkin although i have the strong desire and urge to want to get married young (at least b4 i hit big 30s) and have kids and family and those borin stuff they say, i might not. because its hard. i dont know why, ive spent 18 years and here i am, and ive not met any guy that ive seriously taken a fancy to. i mean yes i have (im contradicting myself) but no i have not met one that meets my CURRENT expectations. yah, ive changed them. even the looks aspect too. still not lookin 4 a good lookin one, but im into geeky guys now, think Young haha. my fetish for bespectacled geeks will continue, and not stop, at least for the time being.

going mad. hahaha.

aiya, realistically speakin, its hard to get your expectations met. and im as happy as i am.

looking through the nikon photo competition contest now, contemplating joining, one, because of the attractive prizes, two, it doesnt harm to try, three, its been a long time since i joined this kind of stuff.

ok, i admit, it’s actually just point no.1. hee. nikon d2x, who wouldnt be tempted. frankly an slr to me cost a bomb, and found out that metamillan’s gettin a d50. work hard, dude.

and hahaha, ive recovered my lost files, by, just that stroke of brilliance, i wont tell you how. heh heh. congrats man. (btw, im still thinkin of how cute young is)

now i see the past winning entries of the nikon comp and im a bit discouraged. brilliant works, some of them. and the judges panel is impressive. okok, looks impressive, since i dont know them all. but yah, no harm trying.

ikea sale is here. and was lookin at the online catalogue, and well, some things caught my eyes:

skruvsta think it costs near 50 bucks. but well, orange is cool to me. and i just cant wait to get rid of that rottin chair of mine. but well, 50 is a bit steep.

take a close look and u’ll see that this is a magnetic notice board. ok, i know u’r no fool. but minimalist always does it for me. tempted. but no again. unnecessary.

the blimp table lamp. dont look like it emits too much light. but would do as a great deco. see, unnecessary again.

heh heh. this is for kids. and this has made me "itch" the most. shucks man, i really want this, but its the most expensive one here, goin 4 149 i think, guess i would have to give this up too. hiaz.

so, im not goin down to the ikea store aft all. sometimes online browsing ruins my mood. the price is always listed there.

got back the results slip today, and i did very well and very badly.

well for the languages and my econs. bad for the maths. bad bad for the physics. 7th percentile can u believe it?

gonna study hard to make up for it, anyway i still love studying (not using the word "mug" here, coz its time for the Speak Good English Movement)

mr chan taught us how to look at the interference patterns through the gap in our index and middle finger when u clamped them together and look at the light source. cool streaks u see like black black hair. too long streaks to resemble armpit hair though. (sorry for the crudeness)

ya noe, for the past month ive been cooped up at home studyin studyin studyin, even i myself am amazed by the marvellous willpower shown.

really had a shiok time doin shoppin with mum at marina yest
and ive got tis 40 plus plus tee bought from poa
actually i was really guilty coz my mum paid for it
basically we went into the shop and i spotted lots of tees that i really like. and i took a slight glimpse at one of the price tag and it said 33 bucks. and i was thinkin to myself damnit why’s it so expensive. so we went a round and came out. then i kept thinkin about the tees while shoppin. and i was thinkin thinkin thinkin no point lah, if i really never buy, then really damnit liao. so i went with my instincts, pluck up the courage, and said to my mum. i saw a tee and it’s damn ex and im gettin it no matter wad. i can pay for it myself. and she asked how much. i said 30 plus. then she say, go buy, i pay. i went to the shop took 2 tees i like and went into the fittin room. tried the 2 and the first one was nicer. when i went in to take it off, looked at the price tag and saw the first one was 42 bucks and the 2nd one 30 bucks. urgh. so i came out lie to my mum that i think the 2nd one is nicer instead. my mum of course saw through that sheepish look i had on my face, said, i think the 1st one is nice, get the first one. and i said, but that one 40 plus dollars leh, u dont regret ah. then she throw me 50 bucks say, go buy. argh.
and for the next buy, a mango jacket. it was liddat too. mango sales. and i saw this one thats a great buy. went out the shop instead again. then after 2 or 3 steps, told my mum to turn back and we got the jacket. haha. u know, my mum always know i’ll spend money when i go shoppin but she always encourages me. me and my spending habits . omg. i donno what to say.
im goin to work real hard next time get myself a money spinnin job/ or a money spinnin husband will do. and get my mum whatever she wants. but i doubt she’ll accept it. she always liddat de.

anyway, borrowed walk the line yest nite and wactched it. but without the subtitles, the slang was hard to get. and i had to sit real close to the tv set and listen real close. not totally enjoyable. although reese witherspoon, i must say, deserve that oscar.
anyway, ive a new haircut and i think it sucks. but nvm
andy’s not around anymore, boohoo. girls always have that kind of weird relationship with their hairdresser and im so upset by his departure. its like ive broken up with a boyfriend, or in better analogy, he walked out on me. hiaz.
and i had no choice but to switch hairdresser. and they gave me this jimson, who was old and dint really look like he fit the bill of creative director. and now i hate him. im changin salon. haha. die, sian.
