ive recently discovered the magic of three words
cleanse. exfoliate. moisturise
magazines always talk about that. and i was a bit curious. so tried it out to see the effects.
i like the feeling after a nice session
first my neutrogena cleaser. then the cucumber scrub. then the biore acne preventing moisturiser.
a bit cumbersome. but quite fun.
now i enjoy washing my face.
went to see the cope ah ma todae.
and im startin to love cope.
juz after one session.
coz it puts my hokkien to practice. and my hokkien is so much BETTER than seow si min..haha.
nowadays, when i watch those taiwanese shows, yah, those ah cheng shows, then me and my sis will translate into tai2 yu3, which is same as hokkien lah. haha.

anyway, back to the adventures:
we went for kayakin, and in this picture, u see angel and dajie tryin to empty the water out of our kayaks.
the membership renewal was like real ex lah, 40 bucks sia. so all of us went broke, and angel was left with negative negative something lah. haha. she got sabo by me, then the person at the sea sports centre found out that she use her sis card, so she no choice have to pay also. paiseh ah angel.
anyway, it was real fun out at sea. we slacked, suntan, row here and row there. then liyuan perform her stunts with her dancer 4 us to see. but she really cham lah, coz we all all dunno how to rescue her de, so very scary. but i din want to capsize, so juz watch dajie and angel do it. dont realli like to get wet, at least not with seawater. but i love the sun. this time round not realli sunburnt. but i got all those bruises on my shoulders for carryin the heavy kayak out to sea. urgh. and plus the aches which i think is goin to be with me for a few more daes.

then, we set off for pulau ubin after meetin up with caryn and jiaying.

anyway, we rented our bicycles once land ahoy! and proceeded on with jus a map on hand. a bit dangerous but i guess we’re always a bit dangerous. hee. then we vroom through tar trails, pavements, and yucks, muddy land. we passed quarries, people, huts, animals and lotsa lotsa trees.
and something damnit had to happen.

that ugly plaster had to stay there for the rest of the pulau ubin trip. how agonising can that be. i had to shield myself with my dear cap in case ppl saw me. nope, its not the embarrassment. i was jus afraid ppl might topple along with their bike while luffin until they cannot laugh, u get it? anyway, i have to thank liyuan and jiaying for their medic skills, they even had alcohol wipe with them loh. trust jiaying to bring that. np people realli are a weird bunch.
anyway, what happened was that we went down this realli steep slope which frm the contours on the map says from 10-50m i guess. and i was the second last to come down. and once u came down, u had to turn a sharp right. so i heard jiaying shouting got van got van lah, so have to avoid. so i kindof panicked and i had to brake. but it was realli too fast to brake. and i tried to turn but it was too fast to turn. so i saw the tree and i knew i was goin to knock into it and i laughed. yah, i mean its damn funni to know that ure goin to crash into a tree among everything else. and i jus accepted the fact and crash! and wow! haha.
got big orh ceh and i cut my lips. and blood. and i think i got something on my brow too. a bit disfigured. but thats about all.
then we went to npcc campsite, and we called jon. but he was home. anyway, i tink he was at obs instead of np. but, well. we took pics.
and there was this funny noise comin fr this speaker outsite the campsite and the voice said bye bye to us. its kinda freaky to noe someone’s watchin u. but its kinda cute too.
and we successfully got out of all those trees.
